About the business
We work with authority enforcement within economic assistance, harmful use and addiction, violence in close relationships, as well as budget and debt counseling. The goal within economic assistance is that the individual, with the help of social services, should become self-sufficient.
With us, you will be part of a work group with helpful, experienced, and competent colleagues. We are a stable work group that has long experience of working focused on self-sufficiency in cooperation with other actors. We are engaged in the changes that occur as a result of the activity requirement and other changes within economic assistance.
About the job
The job involves working to investigate, assess, and decide on the right to economic assistance. The role includes actively supporting, motivating, and strengthening individuals' belief in their own ability to eventually become self-sufficient. The work involves authority enforcement and cooperation with other internal and external actors.
All work within the unit is qualified social work where decisions are made based on legal certainty, i.e., current laws, guidelines, and case law. The job also includes on-call duties.
Qualifications
- A degree in Social Work is required
- A valid driver's license (Category B) is required
- Advantageous with experience within economic assistance
- Advantageous with experience working in the Life Care business system
- Advantageous if you are multilingual

You are loyal, stand behind made decisions, and follow guidelines and policies. Furthermore, you are proactive, take responsibility, and drive the work forward. You are flexible, enjoy collaborating, and contribute to a good and inclusive work climate. As a new employee, you will receive an introduction and continuous external supervision as support in your work.

Scope: Permanent position, full-time.
Start date by agreement, but no later than 2026-08-01 for one position and no later than 2026-09-01 for the other position.
